Ahhh finally~ Something in good old fashioned pen and ink :3
Original is done in dip pen and Pitt Artist ink pens on plate-finish bristol board, 3 ply. <3 that stuff, it can really take some abuse.
Took a few hours, the idea stemmed from a project I had to do for college actually. Then I started thinking about clockwork animals and it was a go from there XD
The girl in the background is an explosives specialist named Vi (names pending), and she's setting little timed bombs to go off on the (gigantic) clockwork snake. Also she's the only calm one XD The large man in the bowtie is Terrence (also pending, lol) and he's trying to keep the snake from nomming everyone <.> The crazy lady with the belts and lightning rod is supposed to me but well...let's just call her Mac for now >.>
I hope to do more art in this vein, I really love the way pen and ink look. Of course, maybe next time I'll remember to use waterproof ink so I can throw color on top XD
